Want to Learn More?

Final Schedule and Applications will be available in January 2025

In a culture with a diversity of views on mindfulness and meditation, it is beneficial to learn about the practice in a way that integrates and appreciates a diverse set of influences and experiences. Informed by Buddhism and Yoga, our hope is to present principles of meditation that support each practitioner to engage more fully in their everyday lives. It is from consistent practice and understanding a clear set of instructions that folks can begin to share meditation practice for others.

  • Establish and refine a regular meditation practice.

  • Learn a diverse set of strategies for meditation practice.

  • Learn Buddhist and Yogic Philosophy underpinning “mindfulness” meditation.

  • Understand how to begin sharing practice with others.

Meet Your Teachers

Fez Aswat

he/him

Fez has been teaching yoga and meditation in the Boston area since 2000. He views his yoga practice as both a natural extension of and a pathway back to his meditation practice which serves as the basis of his teaching.

The different and complimentary styles of Fez and Ryan are the perfect pair of lenses through which to learn- I truly could not have wished for better guides. They combine deep experience and knowledge with humility and openness, cultivating an environment of communal exploration. - Maggie

Ryan Cunningham

they/she

Ryan has been practicing and teaching for over 15 years. They view the practice as both an experience of, and a path towards cultivating wellness through the practice of embodiment, meditation, prayer, and reflection.

Weekend Retreats

10 Retreats to immerse yourself in practice with a supportive community of humans

Monthly Check-Ins

Monthly Meetings to gather, practice, and ask questions.

Support + Guidance

Each month the group will focus our practice around a specific theme, and receive suggested reading.

Path

The first 6 months of the training will be primarily focused on developing a shared language for practice, discussing key concepts, and practicing together - a lot. After stabilizing in practice, we will begin discussions about teaching, working towards students being able to lead guided meditations and classes.

This immersion provided me with the tools I needed to dive deep into my mediation practice. Fez and Ryan are amazing teachers who give support to their students.
